Erik Clear

Erik is a saxophonist from Denver, CO.  Having studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, much of Erik's career has been established on the East Coast where he toured extensively with Good Will & Them Apples Band. Erik is now back in Denver where he is playing saxophone around town and is now a DJ as well!  You can book Erik now for weddings and events.  The combination of today's DJ styles and his saxophone make a truly unique experience that is both nostalgic and new.  

Erik’s style is very melodic whether playing electronic, funk, jazz or original songs.  His music is identifiable by his simple melodies and motives that are easy to understand and groove to.  He emotes truth and honesty; taking the opportunity for adventure. A pure gesture that only allows us to see who Erik is without a filter.  His music is alluring and infectious, organic throughout all styles and pushes boundaries to a new level. His tone is sincere, nestled between Dave Koz’s bright and powerful sound and Walter Beasley’s sweet quality and pure cool.  

In Boston, he studied amongst musicians from every corner of the world that lent their experiences to his inspiration. Erik's music became a melting pot of sorts; blending straight ahead, smooth jazz, rock, electronic and pop music all into a style all his own.  Erik continues to push the envelope by moving forward into the future, using the saxophone as a tool to celebrate life to the fullest.
